Create your own Yandex widget

A widget is an informational block containing part of a web site. All widgets that are developed using the Yandex.Widgets API technology are designed to be installed on the Yandex home page.

You can use the Developer Dashboard to upload your widget and test how it works.

You can distribute your widget yourself, using the widget's installation link or promo code that you can get from the widget's page on the Dashboard.

As soon as your widget has enough users, you can suggest it for the Yandex widget catalog.

And if the widget has regional content, you can participate in the regional program. The most popular regional widgets are offered to users on the Yandex home page.

Before you create your widget, you need to sign in to Yandex (or register), and read the documentation and technical requirements.
